Methodology
The close-up image analysis suggests that the location is likely within China, Taiwan, or another East Asian country. However, extracting precise information from the image is difficult due to low resolution and high exposure. The visible presence of East Asian individuals in the image further supports the assumption that the scene is from one of the regions mentioned above.
The only clearly identifiable detail in the image is a shop named “today toast.”
After conducting a reverse image search, a visually similar image from the same location appeared on a Chinese website. Opening the link allowed comparison of the building infrastructure and roadway, which matched the source image
The logo and text in the resulting image were consistent with those in the original image, strengthening confirmation of the location. Further verification within the same website’s photo gallery also showed the Today Toast café, providing additional confirmation.
Because Google Maps has limited functionality in mainland China, determining exact geographic coordinates is challenging.
Within the website’s photo series, one image was taken near Goût & Co, a coffee company operating in East Asia. Additional investigation revealed that this coffee shop has two locations in the Chengdu region. By comparing the available images from the Chinese website, the matching address was identified as: No. 11/13, Zhuyuan Alley, Wuhou District, Chengdu, China.
Using Microsoft Bing Maps, searching for Today Toast returned a nearby address: No. 7 Zongnanzheng Street, Chengdu, Sichuan, China.
Although the remaining surrounding shops could not be definitively identified, the cumulative evidence strongly indicates that the location is: Chengdu, China
